10 -11.15am	Session 1 – The Power of the Puppet!
	Tools of storytelling in action, why use puppets?
	Confidence building techniques in play and performance.
	Developing puppet & object play kits for children.
11.15 - 11.30am	Break
11.30 - 1.15pm	Session 2 – Animating the Story.
	Linking to children’s literature, traditional tales and multi-cultural myths.
	Making simple but effective puppets for storytelling using scrap materials.
	Making an environment for child- led play sessions.
1.15pm - 2pm	Lunch
2 - 3pm	Session 3 – Animating the Object
	Object play and mini story bags – telling their own stories with objects.
	Learning journeys leading to literacy. Documenting with film and photo.
	Telling the story together – family learning.
3 - 3.15pm	Break
3.15 - 4pm	Plenary session – feedback about experiential learning
